Senior Sales Specialist Building Materials Location: Huthwaite, Nottinghamshire, NG17 2JL Salary: Circa £30k+, DOE + Benefits Contract: Full time, Permanent Hours: Monday - Friday 7.30am - 5pm and every other Saturday 8am - 12pm.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Sales Specialist - Building materials to join the team in Huthwaite, NG17 2JL.
Senior Sales Specialist - The Role: The successful candidate will have detailed knowledge of building materials, with the ability to interpret our customers` requirements.
You will look after key accounts and drive branch sales forward.
Key holder responsibility and the successful candidate will run the branch in the managers absence.
There is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to make the role their own.
Key responsibilities: To promote, improve and increase profitable Sales for the Company by creating good customer liaisons To ensure that all customers are served in a prompt and efficient manner Identifying and contacting new and potential customers To assist as required with the training, motivation, appraisal and on going evaluation of Staff To contribute as required to the general development of the Company's sales, marketing and management plans Having an awareness at all times of Company procedures and pricing policies and ensuring that all Staff comply with them Liaising with Manufacturers and Suppliers to further promote Sales where necessary Provide an after-sales service to customers where necessary Improve and maintain good product knowledge of all products stocked and displayed and generally keep aware of products available in the market place To assist with the reorganisation, promotion, development and future of the Depot Senior Sales Specialist - Skills required: We are looking for someone who has worked for a builder's merchant before, maybe they have begun their journey as a trainee, moved into basic counter sales/ back-office sales and are now looking to progress into more of a senior sales role.
Communication is also key to this role ranging from an excellent after sales service for customers too liaising with manufacturers and suppliers to further promotes sales where necessary.
