Job Title: Classroom Support Worker Location: Poole Salary: £12.82 - £14.72 per hour (Depending on experience) Contract: Part-time/Full-time Start Date: Immediate GSL Education are seeking a committed and empathetic Classroom Support Worker to join a client school in Poole.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide essential support to students and help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

About the Role As a Classroom Support Worker, your role will involve working closely with teachers and students to promote learning and engagement across all areas of the curriculum.
You will play a key part in ensuring students feel supported in their academic, social and emotional development.
Responsibilities · Assist teachers in delivering lessons by providing additional support to students who require it.
· Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning and address specific needs.
· Help to manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
· Foster a safe, inclusive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes student well-being and engagement.
· Support students with additional needs, ensuring they can access the curriculum effectively.
· Collaborate with teaching staff, SENCOs and other support staff to deliver targeted interventions.
· Monitor and document student progress and provide feedback to teachers when necessary.
Requirements · Previous experience working in a classroom setting or supporting students is preferred but not essential.
· A positive, patient and caring attitude, with a commitment to supporting all learners.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
· An understanding of safeguarding principles and a dedication to maintaining student safety.
· Flexibility and adaptability to meet the dynamic needs of a classroom environment.
· An up-to-date CV and an enhanced DBS registered on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
