The role will be Home based with regular travel in South East Northumberland to deliver activity groups.
About the ACTIVITY GROUP COORDINATOR role: The role has the responsibility for the organising and delivering the successful and safe provision of activity groups for people living with dementia and their carers in a group setting.
Groups are delivered within South East Northumberland.
The overall purpose of the role is to coordinate and facilitate the operation of activity and support groups for people living with dementia and/or their carers.
The role of an Activity Group Coordinator is to design, prepare and deliver stimulating and fun activities for the group on a weekly basis, including the delivery of our chair-based exercise programme Move It or Lose It.
Alongside supporting the Service Manager with the co-ordination of Volunteers, including recruitment and training, to enhance the overall service provision provided to those attending the groups.
