Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the CAMHS/Family Care Unit as Care Unit Co-ordinator.You will show good leadership and communication skills, be able to deal with complex and varied information and be flexible and compassionate to the needs of the service receivers and team members.You will receive regular supervision and guidance from colleagues and management to support you in this role and you will be supported to develop your knowledge-base and skill.
There will be opportunity to engage in varied, leadership development training within the organisation and be supported to develop their career.You will be expected to lead, motivate and influence individuals, have excellent communication and analytical skills and be able to juggle the competing demands of the role whilst supporting the Care Unit.
Main duties of the job To provide a high level of professional and confidential coordination of the administrative staff for the Care Unit.

Job description Job responsibilities The Care Unit Co-ordinator role is an operational role where the main duties revolve around staff management of several administrative and clerical teams, as well as coordination of the Care Unit's outpatient activity to meet demand.

Person Specification Qualifications Essential Recognised management qualification (ILM/BTEC/NVQ) or equivalent experience Good typing skills English and Maths GCSE or equivalent - C or above Desirable ECDL Office based training such as NVQ Audio Typing Experience Essential Experience of managing staff and leading a team Experience of working as part of a multi-disciplinary team Previous experience of capturing data in an information system or database Demonstrate ability to prioritise own workload and that of others Experience of presenting reports and validating data Desirable Previous NHS experience Previous office experience Knowledge of HR processes Skills Essential Excellent communication skills - verbal and written Excellent prioritisation, planning and organisation skills Excellent computer skills - Outlook, MS Office, Teams and other IT Systems Ability to problem solve Knowledge of Excel spreadsheets and accurate data inputting Ability to work to deadlines Ability to receive complex instructions and act on them appropriately Ability to work under pressure Rota management and task delegation Knowledge of office-based protocols and processes Desirable Previous waiting list management Medical terminology Previous experience of hospital PAS systems including SystmOne, Careflow and Dragon
