Wiltshire College & University Centre is seeking a Communications and Content Lead to champion our brand, tell our story, and engage audiences across multiple platforms.
As a key player in our Marketing team, you will work collaboratively to support our mission of delivering high-quality education and training, while also stepping into a leadership role in the Marketing and Communications Manager's absence.
Communications and Content Lead - Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: Support the development of the College's marketing strategy, deputising for the Marketing Manager as needed.
Team Oversight: Manage and guide Marketing Assistants, ensuring they meet objectives and KPIs.
Creative Content Creation: Write and produce compelling materials, including prospectuses, feature articles, and external communications like newsletters and press releases.
Digital Storytelling: Capture and promote case studies through engaging video and written content.
Event Management: Organise and support College events, including Open Days, Graduation, and Staff Awards.
PR & Media Relations: Build strong connections with media outlets, maintaining a robust contact list to ensure positive coverage.
Campaign Effectiveness: Monitor, evaluate, and report on the success of communication activities.
Internal Engagement: Develop and deliver internal communications strategies to foster a connected College community.
Innovation: Explore AI technologies and new media channels to enhance our communications.
Communications and Content Lead - You: You are a natural storyteller with exceptional writing and editing skills and a passion for creative marketing.
You thrive on managing multiple priorities and excel in both independent work and team collaboration.
Your experience in PR, digital media, and campaign management makes you the perfect fit to amplify our voice and vision.
