About the Role As a Business Development Executive , you'll play a key role in driving new business for our client's UK depots.
Working closely with a supportive team, you'll: Generate Leads : Proactively identify and contact new prospects by phone and email.
Close Deals : Manage the full sales cycle for opportunities up to £10,000 annual revenue.
Support Growth : Refer larger opportunities to our Business Development Managers (BDMs).
Handle Inbound Enquiries : Respond to incoming leads and turn them into loyal customers.
Own the CRM : Keep our sales pipeline organised and accurate, supporting reporting and strategy.
What We're Looking For B2B Sales Expertise : Previous experience in telesales or customer acquisition.
Communication Pro : Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
Relationship Builder : Strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to connect with prospects.
Tech Savvy : Comfortable using CRM systems (experience is a bonus).
Logistics Knowledge : Experience in freight/logistics is desirable Drive & Flexibility : Occasional travel to depots or trade shows (full driving license required).
