The Mobile Library team deliver library services out with library locations e.g.
to schools, customers' homes, care homes and Assisted Living Accommodation, postholders must be able to work in a variety of non-library environments and support customers with additional needs.This role involves a degree of continual manual handing of boxes and trolley's where we take boxes and trolleys of books into schools and Care Homes, loading theses on and off vehicles.
We do this in all weather conditions – appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) will be supplied.
The job also involves being able to work at low heights and climbing in and out of vehicle cabs.A Full Driving Licence is required: The successful candidate will be required to drive the Mobile Library Vehicles - up to 7.5 tonne LGV's, this requires a C or C1 on your licence.
