Warehouse Operative with FLT Pallet Networks Heathfield, Devon This is for our brand-new site in Heathfield Industrial Estate.
Starting in January 2025, you will be based at one of our other depots until the opening date in February 2025.

The position of Warehouse Operative involves: Using a Counterbalance to load and unload palletised goods from trailers, rigid vehicles and vans.
Using the warehouse system & scanner to receive, locate goods into the racking, pick & dispatch whilst handling all goods with care and attention.
General housekeeping and upkeep of the warehousing area, yard area and equipment.
Completing any relevant paperwork in line with the warehouse processes to include reporting any defects.
Essential skills required for Warehouse Operative: A current Counterbalance forklift licence is preferred, although full inhouse training can be provided.
Previous experience of working within the pallet network industry.
Good communication and team working skills.
Attention to detail is essential.
Ability to work within a fast-paced environment.
Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.

Starting salary for Warehouse Operative is £28,080 based on working 45 hours per week.
Hours of work are Monday to Friday, from 04:00hrs to 13:30hrs Overtime available.
