This is a permanent, part-time post of 17.55 hours per week, with a shift pattern of 2 days over 7- may require evening work to 7pm.Please note the salary is Pro Rata for part time hours.
You must have a diploma/degree in Physiotherapy & current registration with the HPC.
Previous experience of working in the community is desirable & a driving licence is essential.This post will be based within the Rehabilitation & Enablement Team (RES Team) which is located within the Inverclyde Centre for Independent Living (ICIL), Gibshill Road, Greenock and presents as an excellent opportunity for a permanent part-time position for a suitably experienced Physiotherapist.
The post holder will work as part of an established multidisciplinary team within an integrated Health and Social Care Partnership providing specialist physiotherapy assessment and treatment to adults aged 16+ with a physical disability.
The post holder will assist in the triage of clients referred through the single point of access (SPOA) and cover a varied caseload with a mix of rehabilitation, prevention of admission, post-surgical, hospital discharges and will work closely with our community partners across a range of settings such as Nursing Homes, Supported Accommodation, and domiciliary.
The post-holder will have the opportunity to contribute to developing innovative models of care in the community such as pre-falls education and pre-frailty initiatives, working with patients in their own homes or within homely community settings.Details on how to contact the Recruitment Service can be found within the Candidate Information Packs.

NHS Scotland is reducing their full time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay.
This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff.
This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours.
However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
