As a Project SupportOfficer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of ourteam by providing essential project coordination and administrative services.Your contributions will help us deliver innovative solutions and foster strong connectionsacross our system.
Main duties of the job Project Management: Support the team inmanaging and leading projects using defined project management principles.Progress Monitoring: Facilitate and monitor theprogress of defined projects.Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with variousstakeholders to ensure timely sharing of information and updates.Meeting Participation: Attend project meetings,take minutes, and track actions, risks, and issues.Documentation Support: Assist in developingbusiness cases, project initiation documents, and presentations.SharePoint Management: Oversee the PeopleServices Transformation Team SharePoint site, ensuring appropriate access andinformation governance standards.
Collaboration: Workwith partners and stakeholders to support system-wide delivery and foster aculture of care, connection, and innovation.
About us NHS Humber and North Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (ICB) is responsible for planning and arranging the provision of NHS services to meet the diverse health needs of a population of million people.
Our area reaches over 1,500 square miles and includes the cities of Hull and York and the large rural areas across East Yorkshire, North Yorkshire and Northern Lincolnshire.
The ICB is part of the Humber and North Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership, one of 42 Integrated Care Systems (ICS) across England to meet health and care needs, coordinate services and plan in a way that improves population health and reduces inequality between groups.

Job description Job responsibilities Anexciting opportunity has arisen within the People Services Transformation Teamfor a Project Support Officer.
The People Services Transformation Team is oneof the Cultural Transformation Teams within the People Directorate of the Humber& North Yorkshire ICB.
The People Services Transformation Team leads on key workforce initiatives,working across the wider Humber and North Yorkshire system to enable efficienciesin ways of working to ensure that we meet the collective workforce challenges.The postholder will contribute to the smooth running of the People ServicesTransformation Team by providing project co-ordination and administrativeservices.The roleoffers a wide variety of tasks, including but not limited to, supporting thedevelopment of services, assisting with the delivery and planning of currentand new projects, organising meetings, supporting events/workshops and updatingproject reports, data collection and feedback collation.Rolesummary:Support the People Services Transformation Teamto manage and lead on projects when required using defined project managementprinciples.Support the facilitation and monitor progressof defined projects.
Liaise with various stakeholders across thesystem to coordinate the timely sharingof information and updates on arrangements in relation to the progress of theprojects.Participating in specific project meetings,taking minutes, actions, risks, and issues.Support the development of business cases,project initiation documents and presentations in-line with project managementprinciples when required.Manage the People Services Transformation Team SharePointsite to ensure access lists are appropriate and information governancestandards are maintained.Work with partners and stakeholders to supportsystem working and system wide delivery.

This will entail: Understanding the current and futureworkstreams within the People Services Transformation Team and wider PeopleFunction Undertakepreliminary scoping of each event/activities requirements, resources,stakeholder and timelines.Overseeprojects, activities, including stakeholder/system communications Promotethe highest level of professionalism and communication skills to represent theICB and People Team in the best possible light.Toproduce evaluation reports.
This may include an event review but alsoqualitative and quantitative data report that can be drawn on by the respectiveworkstream for delivery purposes.
Organising meetings including participation,agenda setting, note taking, maintaining actions logs and risks/issues log.
Working across all teams within the ICBPeople Team the post holder will also provide additional ongoing projectmanagement support to each of the programmes to support the delivery of theirobjectives.
This will entailleading discreet complex, timebound, projects to bolsterthe project management resource in the overall People Team to meet the peeks inservice activity.
Person Specification Qualifications Essential Knowledge across range of PMO procedures, underpinned by theory.
Knowledge of specific area, acquired through degree or equivalent experience or training CiPD Level 5 or equivalent experience working within an HR function Desirable Relevant project Management qualification.
Experience Essential Project management including the creation of project plans, documentation, and stakeholder meetings.
Experience of creating business cases and formal business reports.
Conducting formal presentations to large groups.
Ability to create plans, monitor and adjust plans as needed to deliver against project plans.
Experience of designing and delivering training in own subject to others.
Ability to create and deliver bespoke surveys, analyse, and publish findings.
Experience of undertaking audits, evaluate and publish findings.
Understanding of Confidentiality and Data Protection Act.
Skills and Competencies Essential Provide and receive complex information; persuasive, motivational, negotiating, training skills are required/present complex, sensitive, or contentious information.
Analyse complex facts or situations requiring analysis, interpretation, comparison of range of options.

Knowledge of organising workshops, including selection of venue, provision of materials, organise multi-disciplinary meetings/project manage business case and investment projects across a range of organisations.
Possesses knowledge of Microsoft Office/365 programmes.
