Join us, we're an Investors in People Silver Standard CompanyWe are looking for a Project Coordinator to support the Contract Delivery Manager in the Arb Utility division at Ground Control.
You will be responsible for managing the operation for an assigned programme of tree works in the Essex area in and around Purfleet, Chelmsford and Colchester and the surrounding areas.
You will take responsibility for driving the programme delivery for both self, contract KPI targets and our tree cutting teams.This is a field-based role with approximately 3 days in the field and 2 days based at home.
You will need a driving licence as you will be driving to rural locations on a regular basis.You will ensure work is completed to the highest possible standards in terms of safety, environment, quality, customer service and profitability.
Drive consistency and innovation through everything you do to ensure Ground Control are the best at what we doWhat you will achieve;Responsible for outputs and performance within your projects, measured against safety, quality, production, budget, required timings and client satisfaction.Ensure efficient communication with your assigned office based Project Coordinator and relevant action taken to ensure projects are processed in good time for smooth and efficient project delivery on all projects.Timely and effective reporting and communication through to your Contract Delivery ManagerEnsure your assigned tree cutting teams have a suitable work bank and are being fully utilised across the wider contract.Update and manage the Work Programme, SD Programme, Held Up Programme, Planning checklists and all similar programmes for your project and assigned teams.Satisfactorily resolving any Held-Up spans that need client resolution to obtain consent.Who are we looking for?This a great role for someone with a basic general project management understanding who would like to move into a completely different environmental sector and expand their skills further.To be successful in this role, you must have:Practiced and strong negotiation and influencing skills.Proficient and competent IT.Well-developed team management and organisational skills.Ability to prioritise workload and balance demands from numerous sources to ensure that all stakeholder needs are met.Excellent Customer ServiceAny tree or horticulture related experience from a practical or project management perspective would be a great benefit.What we offer:At Ground Control we believe in creating an inspirational environment , and rewarding our employees for their hard work.
