Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Strategic Project Coordinator to join our team at Laing O'Rourke.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all programmes are compliant with project requirements and developing a logical sequence of events to adopt the most economical/advantageous construction strategy.

  • Carrying out pre-contract planning and work-winning processes to produce bid programmes and associated time-related information.
  • Analysing performance and advising the project team on likely impact and recommending improvements.
  • Contributing to risk, opportunity, and commercial implications of tender bids.
  • Presenting time-related material using various techniques and methods.

As a Strategic Project Coordinator, you will also contribute to the development of advanced project management techniques and establish them for use on technical and complex projects.

Requirements
  • Desired degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or similar sector-related field.
  • CIOB membership.
  • Proficiency in modelling and 4D planning, as well as Asta or P6.
  • Major project experience.
  • Ability to analyse, collate, and utilise data for reporting and forecasting.
Benefits
