Who we're looking forWe're looking for someone to join our Cash Operations team who are responsible for a wide range of cash processing tasks.
The team's main processes include supporting timely updates of cash flows including segregated client and transfer agency subscriptions and redemptions, instruction of Swift payments, investigation of custodian overdrafts and debit interest charges, loading of fees an expenses and also oversight of trade related FX's.

That's our new operations hub – home to our client servicing, product reporting and operational oversight for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

What you'll do • Responsible for timely delivery of cash flow data from TAs to Aladdin, our internal portfolio management system;• Monitor dashboards in our processing application to identify and rectify cash flow problems in a timely manner;• Liaise with TAs and other external parties to resolve queries and build strong relationships;• Manage risk events and errors and make sure they don't happen again;• Make sure controls are followed, and that exceptions are escalated quickly;• Help manage how we sort out problems always looking for efficiencies;• Oversee FX services where cash flow is impacted, including reviewing daily reports, checking calculations and monitoring spreads and prices;• Set up, maintain and oversee outsourced supplier processing;• Contribute to annual due-diligence visits to Third Party Administrators;• Liaise with colleagues in other Operations teams team on cash flow, trading and corporate action problems;• Draft and maintain best-practice procedures;• Help establish and maintain service level agreements with TAs;• Work with stakeholders to make sure requirements are met and service is in line with the service level agreements;• Contribute to management information and key performance management that senior management need;• Produce technical data on business change; and• Help design and implement updates or enhancements to processes and systems.
The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need• Knowledge of how funds work;• Good with Microsoft applications, including Excel to an intermediate level;• Good with numbers; and• Excellent written and spoken English The knowledge, experience and qualifications that will help • Experience working in a Fund Oversight team; and• Experience of transfer agency platforms and processes What you'll be like • Good at analysing and solving problem with a strong handle on operational risk;• Effective in managing your own time with ability to prioritise tasks appropriately; • Open to feedback, receptive to change, challenges status quo and continually looks out for team and self improvement opportunities;• Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills; • A strong team player able to develop and manage strong working relationships with global internal departments and external counterparties; and • Able to adapt to changes quickly and be an advocator of an innovative culture within the team.
