Main duties of the job The Data Collection and Improvement (DCI) team deliver a support service to care providers with the aim to help them collect and improve the data they submit to NHS England.
The team has 4 sections: Data Collection - Managing a large number of collections from several hundred providers and delivering submissions support across a range of data collection systems Data Coverage - Monitoring and supporting increased coverage across mandatory data collections Data Improvement - Developing trusted relationships with providers to support improvements in the data submitted Management Information - Sourcing, extracting and analysing data about collections to help DCI and other services evidence and maximise their impact.
As a Data Operations Senior Administrator, you will play a key role within an allocated section.
Duties specific to this role include: Responding to technical and administrative queries from providers and problem solving to find resolutions Supporting providers to submit and improve data to NHS England across a range of data collections and systems Supporting the delivery of provider-focussed services and processes for allocated collections, systems or data improvement projects Assisting with the facilitation of national and/or regional engagement with providers, such as central communications and user groups Collating and sharing feedback from providers to improve the data collected and our collection processes.

Staff recruited from outside the NHS will usually be appointed at the bottom of the pay band.
NHS England hold a Sponsor Licence; this means that we may be able to sponsor you providing the Home Office requirements are met.
To be eligible for sponsorship through the Skilled Worker route you'll usually need to be paid the 'standard' salary rate of at least £38,700 per year, or the 'going rate' for your job, whichever is higher.

Person Specification Experience Essential Proven ability of gathering, recording and analysing information from a variety of sources, using such information to prepare and maintain a range of business documents and databases, including methods and techniques for configuration, storage and version control.
Qualifications Essential Proficiency in software packages to an intermediate level: MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Visio Knowledge Essential An awareness of data set / data collection / data quality improvement / data management development / data dissemination principles.
Skills Essential Ability to provide technical and / or administrative support to find a resolution for customers Skills Essential Ability to provide proactive communications support, such as emails, developing and sending newsletters, updating webpages.
Stakeholder management Essential Able to work with internal and external stakeholders to understand their requirements and needs, providing effective consultancy, direction and advice to ensure the delivery of timely and accurate information.
Experience Essential Proven ability to adhere to policy and standard operating procedures while contributing to continuous service improvement activities.
