Job description Job responsibilities NHS DigiTrials supports clinical trials that are developing new treatments to improve health and care.
We provide safe, authorised access to patient data to help trials reach and benefit as many people as possible by building data services across the lifecycle of the clinical trial process.
NHS DigiTrials is made up of 4 services that support clinical trials: Feasibility Service - Works out if there are enough suitable people in England to take part in a particular trial but does not identify individuals Recruitment Service - Uses patient information to identify people who might be suitable for a certain trial - and contacts them to see if they would like to take part.
Communication Service - Keeps trial volunteers, who have consented to receive this information, updated about the progress and results of their trial.
Outcomes Service - Uses patient information for a period of time (agreed with the trial organisation) to show the long-term impact of treatments.
We are looking for a Business Support Officer who has experience of: Mailbox management Co-ordination of meetings and events Meeting minutes and action taking Supporting multiple workstreams with administrative support as necessary Updating reports Coordinating and providing comms support Building relations with internal and external partners to ensure that the information we share is accurate Providing general administrative support This role is Leeds / London / Southport based with a hybrid working pattern.
Person Specification Planning & Organising Essential Support the management of activities, gathering information, updating documentation and undertaking enquiries as necessary for the activities lead.
Service Improvement Essential Evidence of working across teams in the collection and analysis of information for performance reporting on relevant team projects.
Analysis & Judgement Essential Evidence of acting as a contact point for teams, dealing with and responding effectively to complex queries from stakeholders and passing on relevant information to appropriate team members sensitively and autonomously.
Uses initiative to a significant level and demonstrates attention to detail in all aspects of work, managing competing demands and priorities.
Communication Essential Acting as a key member of the team to support effective communication and stakeholder management both internally and externally.
Acting as administration lead for all incoming issues to Senior Managers and teams' mailbox, dealing with these appropriately and in a timely manner.
