ROLE - Quality Manager LOCATION Lancashire TERM Permanent SALARY - £45,000 Im working with an established manufacturer who are based in Lancashire , they currently have an urgent requirement for a Quality Manager who has a background in Engineering or a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities: Formulate and execute quality assurance policies, procedures, and standards that comply with industry regulations and align with company goals.
Supervise the comprehensive quality assurance process, including inspections, audits, and oversight of quality control testing for products and processes.
Establish clear and quantifiable quality objectives that are in line with overall business goals and customer expectations.
Perform regular audits and inspections to detect potential quality issues and implement corrective measures.
Work closely with cross-functional teams such as Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain to ensure quality standards are integrated throughout product development and manufacturing.
Track and analyse quality performance metrics, producing reports and recommendations for ongoing improvement.
Handle customer feedback and complaints, ensuring prompt resolution and the implementation of preventive actions.
Skills: Demonstrated experience as a Quality Manager in a highly regulatedmanufacturing environment At least 3 years of experience as a Quality Manager or Quality Engineer Experienced in compiling and analyzing Quality Metrics.
Proficient with industry standards such as ISO 9001, and other relevant regulations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively support thorough Root Cause Analysis audits.
