Product Quality Specialist

The Product Quality Specialist will play a pivotal role in shaping a culture of continuous improvement at Crcevans, ensuring the organization operates at the highest level of quality, safety, and efficiency in the rapidly evolving oil and gas service sector.

Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ) Management:
  1. Identify key areas contributing to the cost of poor product quality and develop strategies to reduce CoPQ through process improvements and supplier quality management.
  2. Liaise with suppliers to reduce supplier NCR's through a relationship-building approach.
Downtime Reduction:
  1. Collaborate with the Engineering team to ensure FMECA's become part of the engrained product quality improvement cycle.
  2. Implement preventive measures and corrective actions to minimize unplanned downtime.
Repair Rate Improvement:
  1. Assess repair rates for equipment and identify opportunities for improvement.
  2. Develop continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing repair rates and associated costs.
Safety Systems Enhancement:
  1. Collaborate with the HSE team to ensure compliance with industry safety standards and regulations.
Digitalisation Integration:
  1. Feed into data-driven decision-making processes to optimize operations and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  1. Previous relevant roles in an Engineering or Quality environment.
  2. Related degrees/certification is advantageous.
  3. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends.
  4. Excellent team player ethos is essential.
  5. Knowledge of safety systems and regulations in the oil and gas sector is advantageous.
  6. Familiarity with digitalization trends and technologies to modernise the department's approach.
