AS OCU continues on a journey of substantial growth, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Site Engineer to come and join us based in Slough.
The Site Engineer will play a crucial role in the product development lifecycle, from concept design to production.
This role requires strong technical skills, creative problem-solving abilities, and a passion for innovation.
The Design Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and develop products that meet customer requirements and exceed industry standards.
Duties and Responsibilities: Collaborate with product managers, stakeholders, and customers to understand project requirements, goals, and constraints.
Generate innovative design concepts and solutions that address user needs, technical specifications, and market trends.
Create sketches, renderings, and 3D models to visualize and communicate design concepts effectively.
Conduct engineering analysis and simulation studies to evaluate the performance, reliability, and manufacturability of design concepts.
Use CAD software and simulation tools to optimize designs for strength, weight, cost, and other key factors.
Iterate on designs based on analysis results and stakeholder feedback to achieve optimal outcomes.
