Job summary The Education Programme Officer works with the Education Programme Manager in the relevant local office to support the operational delivery of dental education programmes and teams including national recruitment, programme management, finance, and project management and to implement successful delivery of assessments, rotations, OOP, IDT, LTFT throughout a trainee's journey.
They will apply locally defined processes whilst following the national policy and process.
Main duties of the job The post holder will develop and maintain constructive working relationships with a number of key internal and external stakeholders.
This role will provide a comprehensive administrative support to the Education Programme Team.
This will include, for example, diary management, correspondence, meeting bookings, team event management, minute taking, analysing data and collating reports, information management to support the day-to-day running of the Dental Schools.

Person Specification Qualifications Essential Educated to degree level in relevant subject or equivalent level qualification or significant experience of working at a similar level in specialist area Experience Essential Demonstrable experience of managing and co-ordinating projects in complex and challenging environments including experience of managing and reporting risks and setting up and implementing internal processes and procedures.
Knowledge Essential Knowledge of financial systems monitoring budget management, processing invoices, procurement and business planning processes.
Knowledge of Data Protection and Information Governance Skills Essential Experience of drafting briefing papers and correspondence up to and including at senior management level as well as experience of creating and giving complex presentations to a varied group of internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to manage own workload and make informed decisions in the absence of required information, working to tight deadlines and often changing timescales, sometimes at short notice and unexpectedly.
