Exciting Opportunity: Accountant (Part / Fully Qualified) Overview: We're partnering with a leading insurance company based in Larne, Specializing in comprehensive insurance solutions,and well known for providing great progression oppurtunities to it employees.
They're committed to providing top-quality services to clients across Northern Ireland We're currently sourcing a motivated and experienced Accountant to join our client's team at their Larne headquarters.
This full-time role presents an excellent opportunity to play a vital role in financial management and analysis, contributing to the efficient scaling of their business operations.
Responsibilities: Preparation of accurate and detailed monthly management accounts.
Reconciliation of stock and support for stock control and reporting procedures.
Monthly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
Analysis of performance against budget, with investigation of key variances.
Forecasting cashflow to support financial planning initiatives.
Consistent meeting of month-end deadlines.
Providing ad hoc support to the accounts team as required.
Requirements: Part or fully qualified accountant with membership of a professional body (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent).
Minimum of 2 years' experience in preparing management accounts.
Proficient in general IT skills; experience with PowerBI is advantageous.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, V lookups, and advanced formulas.
Strong communication skills, with experience in liaising with senior management and directors.
Excellent analytical skills with a meticulous eye for detail and problem-solving abilities.
