About the Role The Sales Development Representative role offers an exceptional opportunity for aspiring sales and marketing professionals to drive our sales and growth efforts forward, primarily targeting customers with employee sizes ranging from 1 to 500 employees.
This role involves prospecting and generating appointments for our Sales Team by creating and qualifying sales leads, converting them into opportunities, and utilizing various channels, including our existing database, inbound enquiries, and outreach.
A creative problem-solver will deliver an aligned message that generates leads to acquire new clients into our customer base.
Your role requires engaging with prospects, including business owners, directors, and HR/Payroll professionals, showcasing our products and services, delivering tailored marketing content, and identifying new potential opportunities within our CRM.

Tasks and Responsibilities Lead Generation, Qualification & Engagement: Contact Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) promptly to maintain their interest and assess how we can match and provide SD Worx services.
Qualify prospects using the BANT criteria: budget, authority, needs, and timing.
Engage decision-makers to ensure you're talking to the right person.
Gauge purchasing timelines to align sales efforts accordingly.
Provide clear information about products or services, address inquiries, and nurture relationships to guide prospects through the sales funnel towards a purchase.
Maintain a continuous flow of qualified opportunities to the sales team and support the sales process with effective lead management.
Report and track performance based on set KPIs, including appointment generation, sales pipeline, sales conversion rate, and sales targets.
Continuously improve and develop skills through learning for products, services, and lead generations.
Requirements Experience in a Sales/Business Development Representative role, preferably in a SAAS/Services company.
Self-starter with strong opportunity qualification, objection handling, and time management abilities.
Good understanding of call structuring, conversation control, and pitching.
Ability to work in a high-energy sales team environment.
Positive phone skills, excellent listening skills, strong writing skills.
Proficient in standard corporate tools, email, voicemail, MS Office, and comfortable with technology and proficient in using sales and CRM software tools.
Goal-oriented and motivated mindset to achieve lead generation and qualification targets.
Sales training and Salesforce.com experience are a plus.
