CS Boswell is a family owned funeral directors based in Kidlington, Oxford and Bicester.
We are an established part of the local community and have a vacancy for a full-time funeral operative.
If you are personable, have great communication skills and work well in a team this role could be for you.
The role is very varied and every day is different.
From initially taking a person who has died into our care, pall bearing and chauffeur duties at funeral services; to the behind the scenes care which includes preparing the person who has died for the family to say their last goodbyes, coffin finishing, preparing graves for burying ashes and cleaning company vehicles.
All provided with a respectful and professional approach.

A positive attitude is essential and you will have a caring personality and empathise with others.
You should be willing to take ownership of jobs and be comfortable thinking on your feet to ensure that all aspects of the funeral follow the instructions and wishes received.
Previous job experience is not necessary and full training will be given.
Full, clean, manual driving license is essential.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.0pm; you will also be part of an on-call rota every three weeks, providing our services outside of standard working hours.
