Whilst knowledge andexperience of the NHS are beneficial, they are not essential, and training willbe given.
This is a challenging role at times, but it is also very rewarding.
Main duties of the job Theduties and responsibilities to be undertaken by receptionist may include any orall of the items in the attached job description.Duties may be varied from time to timeunder the direction of the Reception Supervisor, Assistant to the PracticeManager or Practice Manager, dependent on current and evolving practiceworkload and staffing levels.
About us We are looking for a receptionist to join our teamhere at Penny's Hill Practice.
We are based in Ferndown Town Centre in walkingdistance to all amenities and the local supermarket.
The practice shares thepurpose built premises with Orchid House Surgery with a range of communityservices also being provided from attached facilities.Pennys Hill Practice is a six partner practice providinga range of primary care and community health services from Ferndown MedicalCentre.
We run a personal list system for our 6 GP's and have approximately 7600 patients registered with us.
We also have 3 practice nurses, 1Phlebotomist, 1 Phlebotomist / HCA, 1 tracker nurse / HCA and our receptionteam.
