Position: Specialist Tandoori & Grill Chef De Partie Employer: Indian Fine Dining and Home Dining Restaurant Location: Dumfries, Scotland Gross OTE salary package: circa £30,000 (inclshare of serv.
chg. + targeted bonus) Weekly working hours/days 48 hours /5 days Benefits & Entitlements: 28 days paid holiday (pro rata) incentives, employers workplace pension,employee care and wellbeing support + more Your role involves skilful preparation of complex South Asian Tandoori and Grill meats , breads and specialities specific to the regional theme of the establishment and its menus.
You will be responsible for a series of kitchen operational duties commensurate with job role, including training and supervising Commi Chefs and other junior kitchen staff To qualify for selection, you must have the following minimum requirements: - Eligibility to live and work in UK Experience in the preparation of authentic Tandoori & Grill dishes & specialties Technical knowledge of ingredient quality, sourcing, measuring & formulation Previous experience of at least 3 years in this role + min 3 years of prior experience in escalating job roles Relevant Health & Safety credentials and knowledge of HACCP protocols Resident within commutable distance of up to one hour In addition, youshould have the following attributes: - Industrial training in a world-renowned culinary/hospitality institute such as Taj, Oberoi, ITC or similar Performance, achievement and results driven Have an eye for detail Able to work well with others Creative energetic and passionate about delivering culinary excellence A hardworking, fastidious and conscientious individual Sound health and fitness FAST PACED AND BE ABLE TO WORK AT SPEED AND UNDER PRESSURE GOOD NEWS IF APPLYING FROM OUTSIDE UK: For assurance and peace of mind we place you with stable and reliable Goldstar Chefs approved sponsor employers only .
