We are seeking a highly skilled Child Development Specialist to join our Health and Wellbeing Team.
The successful candidate will work with children affected by trauma, providing direct therapeutic support and guidance to care teams.
Key Responsibilities Develop and implement personalized plans of support for each child, incorporating assessment and report writing.
Work closely with the Health and Wellbeing Team to deliver therapeutic training and support.
Provide flexible, high-quality services, working at our Head Office in Penrith and in children's homes, as well as occasionally from home.
Requirements UKCP/BACP registration and a qualification in counselling, level 4 or above.
Substantial experience working directly with children in a psychology or counselling capacity.
Excellent knowledge of trauma and attachment theories, with the ability to apply this knowledge in practice.
Benefits An annual salary of up to £40,000.
