We're looking for a passionate, energetic and experienced Delivery Manager to join our team and lead for delivery and standards across the incredibly beautiful and nature-rich Sherborne Estate .
With multiple landscape and large-scale nature recovery projects planned and in progress, there's a lot of inspiring and truly impactful work going on.

As a member of the property leadership team, you'll work closely with the Project Manager, the Countryside Manager, and the countryside and project teams based at Sherborne.
You'll also work with the facilities manager and rural surveyor, ensuring compliance and stewardship agreement objectives are met.

The Sherborne Estate covers 1,668 hectares comprising arable and livestock farms, woodland & wood pasture, historic parkland riparian habitats including floodplain meadows.
The estate is rich in archaeology and has over 850 ancient and veteran trees.

In partnership with our farm tenants, the local community and other organisations, we're delivering lots to restore nature and fight climate change.

What you'll be doing: You will report to the Countryside Manager and work under the Big Nature Better Access Project Manager.
You'll work closely alongside the project team and the Ranger team, as well as other property and consultancy colleagues.
You'll be responsible for delivering our ambitious projects all the way from concept to completion, utilising your great communication skills alongside effective task management and prioritisation.
You'll be confident with the use of GIS software and requirements around planning and the historic environment to enable you to contribute to project design and funding bids.
You'll be fluent in health and safety requirements, especially relating to physical works and contract management as you'll be fundamental to every stage of delivery, from agreeing specifications, obtaining quotes, supervising work and eventual sign-off.
You'll have a can-do attitude, getting your boots on and rolling your sleeves up when needed too
Who we're looking for: An excellent communicator with experience in stakeholder management, you'll be a great champion for the property with local communities.
Experienced in managing and delivering projects.
Experienced in relevant land, conservation, and access management and use of GIS and office software.
Customer aware and take pride on delivering excellent customer service.
Organised and self-motivated, confidently able to manage a demanding workload with competing pulls on your time.
Confident in managing budgets, finances, income generation and contracts.
Knowledgeable in planning requirements relating to the countryside and visitor activities.
