Senior Care Assistant - Nights -The Grove Care Home in Waltham, Grimsby, Part of The Country Court Family Hours: 44 Hours per week, working weekends on rota (Shift Times 19:00-07:00) The Grove is a well-established part of the community in Waltham and a well-respected care home in the Grimsby area, It provides residential and specialist dementia care in a warm, family-led setting.
The dedicated staff led by the Manager understand that everyone is different and take time in getting to know each resident individually, so they can settle into a comforting, enjoyable routine.

ABOUT THE SENIOR CARE ASSISTANT ROLE Within your role as a Senior Care Assistant, you can really make a difference to our residents' lives.
Your responsibilities will include: Aiding residents emotional well-being and social needs Administration and monitoring of medications to residents.
Supporting residents at meals time Mentor & assist new employees.
Implement, monitor and review care plans to meet residents specific needs.

Experience as a Senior Care Assistant & leading a team.
Be no stranger to working night shifts Have a friendly & caring attitude.
Able to engage well with the residents and their families Have an understanding of people with Dementia NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social care or willing to work towards this.
Great communication skills, both written & verbal.
