We are looking for a talented Lead NodeJS Engineer to work closely with our product owners to help shape and build the future of our Frontend ecosystem for a global online sports betting operator.
You will need strong backend & frontend skills, experience on Next.js and React, but most importantly leadership and people skills.
As a mindset, we need strong problem solvers who love to learn — we're not experts in everything and we don't expect you to be either.
You know good systems' design when you see it and you know when and how to improve it.

W hat you'll be getting up to:  Working with key business stakeholders to understand the problems that need to be addressed.
Designing and implementing new features and solutions.
Leading a cross functional and remote team Performing analysis of current programs including performance diagnosis and troubleshooting of issues.
Provide assistance and mentoring to the team members.
Refine system requirements and break them down into workable tasks.
Prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Apply effective and clear communication with non-technical staff and with members of interdisciplinary teams.
Writing and improving the documentation for the company products and tools Maintaining our products and assisting in troubleshooting production incidents Helping customer support answer customer questions The role requires being available for on call support as required.
Here are a few recent and inflight projects/initiatives of the team: Overhauling our product for improved UX Integration with the organization's next generation payments backend systems Integrate new payment methods and payment providers and speed up said integrations with automation/configuration improvements Provide self-help tools to the players for them to complete their transactions and unblock stuck transactions Provide the tools to Customer Support to process quickly and efficiently follow-ups by players as to their transactions R equirements: List of skills we think you need: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or any related technical field.
