How you'll make a difference As Reward Lead, you'll Lead, design and develop the reward strategy, ensuring that policy and practice is aligned to the organisational strategy, the People Strategy and regulation.
You will: Be a Subject Matter Expert on reward regulation matters and ensure all related Policies and Standards are compliant Lead on the development of the strategic direction for the external reward benchmarking procedures.
Provide SME insight for the review and design of variable remuneration schemes Support the Remuneration Committee, including preparation of agendas, reports and maintenance and monitoring of work plans, action schedules and production of minutes and support the design, maintain and implementation of the Society's Remuneration Standard and Policy.
As Secretary to the Pension Trustee Committee and as Subject Matter Expert on pensions, lead the relationship with outsourced pension providers and ensure and ensure all Society's Policies, Standards and procedures are compliant.
Lead, develop and design efficient Reward systems and processes, ensuring delivery of an effective and compliant payroll.
Lead, implement and develop the annual pay, bonus and benefits review process ensuring engagement with all stakeholders.
To maintain required standards of the Conduct Rules at all times in accordance with prevailing regulatory requirements.
To maintain full awareness of and conformance to the Risk Management Framework including but not limited to the Information Security and Data Governance supporting frameworks.
What you'll bring to the role: Significant leadership experience in reward and remuneration, preferably within a regulated financial services environment Significant experience/understanding of pensions, preferably both DB and DC Schemes Experience of the operation and requirements of Remuneration Committees/executive remuneration Experience of developing and delivering robust and effective reward strategies Excellent understanding of statutory requirements and legislation across all areas of Reward (including pensions and remuneration) Experience of Reward benchmarking tools, ideally Towers Watson Global Grading System Excellent communication skills, written and oral Strong numerical, analytical and modelling skills, with good experience of interpreting data and producing high quality and accurate management reports And in return, you'll get the best from us: An annual colleague bonus of up to 20% Hybrid working with 60% of your time at home Matched pension contributions of up to 10% 30 days holiday, plus bank holidays and holiday purchase scheme of up to 5 days each year Colleague Mortgage and Saver products Electric vehicle scheme/ Cycle to Work scheme 2 days' volunteering per year We'll give you a place to belong with the support to learn, develop and shape a meaningful career.
