PMLD Teaching Assistant - Burnley: Prospero Teaching are looking for a caring and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support children with PMLD at a lovely school near Burnley.
Role Responsibilities: Assisting with personal care Working with challenging behaviours Building rapport with parents and staff Position Details: Location: Burnley Position: PMLD Teaching Assistant Hours: 8:30am-3:15pm (during term time only) Minimum rate of pay: £85 per day, depending on experience Type of Work: Temporary Full time/Part time: Full time only Start date: Jan 2025 End date: OngoingExperience, Training & Qualifications: Relevant experience working with children Up to date safeguarding training within the last year (desirable but training can be provided)TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold right to work in the UK Hold and enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional child related references OTHER: If you would like to be considered for any primary teaching roles, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV.
