PMLD Teaching Assistant - Burnley:Prospero Teaching are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to support children with SEN at a lovely school near to Burnley. You must be comfortable administering personal care and supporting children with complex needs.Although experience working with special needs in a school setting is preferred, any personal or professional experience supporting complex needs is what actually matters in this role to care and nurture for the individuals.Position Details: Location: BurnleyPosition: PMLD Teaching AssistantHours: 8:30am-4pmType of work: TemporaryFull time/part time: Full time onlyMinimum rate of pay: £90 per day, depending on experienceStart date: Jan 2025End date: OngoingExperience, Training & Qualifications:Any personal or professional experience supporting children with SENUp to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be providedTO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:Hold right to work in the UKHold and enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new applicationProvide two professional child related references OTHERIf you would like to be considered for any primary teaching roles, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV.Prospero Teaching is acting as an employment business/education recruitment agency in relation to this vacancy.
