Job Description Personal Assistant, to Director of Supported Living Location: Suffolk, based at home with the requirement to work across our countywide offices as needed.    Salary: £12.48 an hour   Hours: 18.5 a week    For more information about this role, click here We are looking for a Personal Assistant (PA) to support our Director for our Support to Live at Home service.
You'll be responsible for carrying out administrative tasks on behalf of the Director so that they can spend maximum time on strategic tasks and responsibilities.     About The Role Why work for us?

This is evidenced in a different job description and an enhanced rate of pay.  The role of the PA is fundamental to the successful running of the business line as well as the successful running of the business.
It is expected that you will work collaboratively with the other PA's to support organisational requirements/tasks - including info@, ICT emails and other joint inboxes, assisting HR with new starters/leavers, help with organising events such as the business support days etc.  As a PA you are required to:  Support, mentor and guide the business support colleagues in your business line through the month and arrange a business line specific business support meeting twice a year as minimum.  Support the induction of new business support colleagues in the business line.  Supporting the director to grow and manage their business line, PA should chase instructions or requests and gather information as required.  You should instigate planning, research and compliance tasks that include checking achievement of training, reporting and embedding of processes as guided by your director or the organisation.  Support the diary management of the Director, booking meetings, scheduling tasks, training, travel, tickets; reminding of important tasks and deadlines.   Finance –administrate Pcard returns, expenses and mileage claim's for the Director and the people they line manage.  Your direct support and guidance to the business line business supports is so you are setting the standard to ensure that they are fulfilling the role of business support across the business line, that they are following processes and being effective in their role in their local team as well as cascading information, change and expected ways of working from the director and organisation.  You do not line manage your business support colleagues in your business line but you should advise the director/line manager of any concerns you have about their ability or willingness to undertake any tasks.
Therefore, demonstrating initiative, resourcefulness and an ability to manager multiple assignments under various deadlines.   As well as undertake all other aspects of your job description.
