We haveprocesses in place that support flexible working requests.In thisimportant role, you'll be using your knowledge, experience, and expertise toprovide essential administrative support to our hard-working frontline NHSteams.
No NHS is experience required, but a passion for excellent patient careis a must.You will bea strong communicator as you will be supporting wide range of people, includingpatients and health care professionals.

Main duties of the job A typicalday as an administrator may involve:Maintaining patient records effectively andaccuratelyGeneral office duties such as typing,scanning, photocopying, printingScheduling appointments/meetingsHandling correspondence ingoing/outgoing mailHandling queries over thetelephone and face to face from staff, patients, and external agenciesLooking after the sharedemail inboxAssisting the team withvarious administrative tasks About us At Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust,we are working together to deliver outstanding care.

Person Specification Knowledge Essential Working knowledge of Microsoft packages Knowledge of office procedures Understanding of the confidential nature of the post Skills & Abilities Essential General office skills, including filing, scanning, photocopying etc.
Ability to be supportive to others Ability to be polite and firm when dealing with difficult, impatient or upset people Ability to communicate effectively and clearly in both written and verbal formats Ability to prioritise a busy workload effectively and able to work to strict deadlines Additional Criteria Essential Professional manner Willingness to commit to continuing professional development and undertake relevant training as required Tact and discretion when dealing with confidential information You understand that we will not provide sponsorship to work for this role.
Qualifications Essential Educated to vocational level 3 in Business Administration or Educated to vocational level 2 with NHS administrative experience and will be expected to undertake the relevant level 3 qualification on appointment to post.

Experience Essential Recent, relevant Administrative/Secretarial experience.
