To this end, NHS Scotland welcomes applications from all sections of society.We are looking to recruit a District Nurse to the post of full time band 6 Community Nurse Caseload Holder into the Oban and Lorn Community Nursing Team.This role involves responsibility for a clinical caseload, complex case management, palliative and end of life care.
The applicant should be familiar with patient-centred assessment, care planning and evaluation of nursing care for a range of long term conditions, tissue viability and robust competence in a range of clinical skills.
The applicant should have good leadership skills and be able to deputize for the team lead when required.
You will be working closely with the wider multi disciplinary team with the aim of enabling self management, maximizing quality of life, preventing hospital admissions and facilitating timely discharges back home.
You should have a wide understanding of the MDT roles.
Argyll is a beautiful location to live and work with many opportunities for outdoor activities.
You will work across a large geographical area which provides you with outstanding views as you go about your day.
