We provide tailored expertise in Medical Communications, Medical Education, Medical Affairs and Medical Events for pharmaceutical and medical device companies across a huge variety of therapy areas.We are a dynamic and innovative agency committed to advancing healthcare by creating clear, engaging, and impactful content for healthcare professionals and patients across the globe.Job Title: Account ManagerReports to: Account Director or Business Unit DirectorJob type: Full-time; HybridSALARY: £36,000 - £45,000 depending on experienceROLE DESCRIPTION:Working within a business unit, the role will be varied and fast-paced and you will be expected to take the lead on projects such as meetings and events, advisory boards, webinars, training slides, websites, e-learning, videos, articles, educational and promotional materials.You will be directly responsible for the quoting, planning, implementation, and outcomes of your projects ensuring they are delivered to the highest quality on-time and on budget.Within your close-knit team, you will help to develop junior members to build their knowledge and expertise contributing to the success of the team and on-going growth of the company.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Project management: Be the lead on projects, keeping them on schedule, on budget and to the brief. This entails closely managing junior staff, our production team, writers and third-party suppliers and keeping ahead of evolving client requirement.Client service: Develop strong working relationships with your clients, providing clear status updates, problem solving and identifying opportunities to expand the account.Team working: Building and training client services staff as they progress in their careers as well as working collaboratively across teams.Growth: Be proactive in identifying opportunities to expand accounts and improve efficiencies.Financial and quality control: Maintain and uphold financial and quality control processes with a high level of scrutiny and attention to detail.CANDIDATES MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical communications agency or similar roles in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences (degree in communications, marketing or similar will also be considered).Experienced in running multiple projects concurrently.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Veeva PromoMats.Understanding of the ABPI and EFPIA.Self-motivated and proactive.A keen eye for detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.APPLICATION PROCESS:Interested candidates should submit a resume and covering letter.Successful applicants will be contacted by email.
