Department: UnderwritingLocation: LondonDescriptionThe purpose of this vacancy is to provide support and administration for the Lancashire Terrorism team with particular focus on the delegated underwriting portfolio.Specific ResponsibilitiesSet-up system records and maintain underwriting systems and controls including LIPPSGeneral spreadsheet work including statistics and data analysis and generation of reportsCredit Control, Bordereaux and EPI process managementWork in collaboration with DU Team and Exposure Management in order to obtain and provide any required informationIdentify and investigate queries and liaise with brokers as directed to resolve issues as necessaryAssist with ad hoc projects and research work as required in support of the wider teamCoverholder relationship management including offsite visits and trainingBroker NetworkingEssential Skills & RequirementsA good level of formal educationProficient with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word (intermediate)Excellent attention to detail, self-discipline and time managementGood verbal and written communication skillsStrong work ethicTeam playerAbility to work flexibly to meet business needs including extended hours if required.The Lancashire Way At Lancashire, we believe our culture sets us apart.
