Job DescriptionThis is an excellent opportunity to join a growing Delegated Authority function that is investing in stronger oversight and looking to bring someone in at an early stage of their career. You will play a key role in supporting the assessment and approval of delegated arrangements across a variety of products, gaining meaningful exposure to governance, compliance and underwriting processes.If you are looking for a role that offers development, genuine responsibility and the chance to build your expertise in a supportive environment, this position offers a clear path to grow. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, learn directly from experienced DA professionals and become an important part of a team that values accuracy, curiosity and progression.Key responsibilities:Carrying out initial reviews on new delegated applications ensuring documents, controls and governance meet required standardsSupporting the completion of due diligence packs for new and renewing agreementsMaintaining accurate records across internal systems and updating contract details throughout the lifecycleCoordinating with underwriters and brokers to gather information needed for assessmentsSupporting the follow up and tracking of outstanding items raised during the due diligence processProviding administrative support on occasional audit tasks, including preparation of audit information and assisting with the review of outcomesHelping to produce reports and summaries for internal committeesIdentifying areas of concern in due diligence findings and escalating appropriatelyContributing to general oversight tasks across the DA portfolio and assisting with process improvementsExperience you’ll need:Six months to one year’s experience within a Delegated Authority, underwriting support or Lloyd’s market operations roleSome familiarity with delegated authority processes or contract reviewsStrong organisational skills with a keen eye for detailConfidence communicating with internal teams and external partnersA proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and take on new responsibilitiesThis is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to develop a strong foundation in delegated underwriting oversight.
