Trading and Category Manager

We’re looking for an experienced Trading and Category Manager to join a Tier 1 consumer electronics company.The Change Partners are working with a leading global consumer brand who are looking for a Trading and Category Manager to join the DTC division. We’re seeking an analytical individual with proven experience in trading/commercial roles, to deliver DTC sales growth through the .com website. Key responsibilities: • Own the sales plan for mid-tier and entry-level products through the .com website, including owning the pricing and promotional plan.• Manage and develop the sellout platforms (e.g. Trade In) and their contributions to sales.• Effective management of go-to-market for new products through the .com website.• Drive improvement in channel sales, traffic, conversion, average order value, forecasting, availability and aged stock.• Own the quarterly planning process, including briefing and delivering the plan through partners and holding them accountable to targets.• Identify commercial priorities within the category and implement trading governance.What we’re looking for:• Experience in an eCommerce Trading/Commercial role in a multichannel retailer, including proven experience with forecasting and promotional planning.• Someone with a strong understanding and delivery of key financial numbers.• Analytical, with the ability to digest complex data sets.• A self-starter with ambition to grow and develop in the role and team.• Strong problem-solving capability with the ability to achieve results through others.This is a hybrid role, with 3 days in the office per week.Please apply below with your CV if you’re interested.*This is an urgent position with interviews commencing imminently.
