Altura Partners are working with a well established, market leading Cyber vendor specialising in network security. This vendor is trusted by Fortune 100 enterprises and government entities to deliver scalable, automated, and cybersecurity solutions.Senior Pre-sales System Engineer / Sales EngineerThe roleThis is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing, diverse team as a Senior Sales Engineer. In this role, you will:Participate in client meetings to understand business needs and align them with solution capabilities.Travel locally within the designated territory (UK) to attend events, engage with partners, and meet clients.Maintain in-depth technical knowledge of the platform through continuous training.Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations that communicate the value and use cases of the solution.Design and implement Proof-of-Concept (POC) environments tailored to client requirements.Support clients during POC testing by troubleshooting and optimising configurations.Stay motivated and hands-on with networking technologies and client-facing activities.Engage with high-profile/enterprise customers in dynamic and rewarding projects.Experience 5+ years in a Sales Engineer/Pre-Sales/System Engineering role in cybersecurity.Strong hands-on skills in lab environments, confident presentation and communication abilities.Strong network security background is essential (CCNA, CCNP or CCIE level), and IOT, threat detection, XDR, SIEM, EDR, security experience is a plus.Comfortable with regular travel and adapting to customer needs.Highly motivated, customer-focused, and committed to quality.Experience in translating business needs into effective technical solutions.Experience engaging with enterprise-level clients.Must reside in the UK.Salary: £160k OTE + £8k car allowance (70/30 split)
