Competitive OTE's plus benefits and equity on offer. The Opportunity The engineering team builds advanced systems that interact with some of the most complex AI software in production. Comprising experienced professionals from diverse technical backgrounds, the team now seeks an Sales Engineer to help scale adoption of their cutting-edge platform across the machine learning community. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Account Executives to communicate the value of the platform, guide technical evaluations, and drive proof-of-concept engagements from requirements gathering through to completion. One day you might be presenting to a Chief Data Officer, and the next, hands-on developing a demonstration model to showcase the platform’s capabilities.# Key Responsibilities Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers and prospects. Build relationships with technical stakeholders and decision-makers. Lead product demonstrations and discovery sessions to understand client ML environments. Collaborate with Sales to develop compelling value propositions tailored to client needs. Address technical objections and coordinate with internal engineering and product teams to resolve challenges. Create educational content such as blog posts, documentation, and recorded assets on AI/ML topics. Engage with machine learning communities to share insights and best practices for deploying AI in production. What We’re Looking For Communication Skills: Ability to simplify and clearly articulate complex technical concepts. Strong empathy and adaptability to different audiences and technical levels. Technical Curiosity and Agility: Eager to learn and navigate the intricacies of production ML systems. Comfortable operating in ambiguous or rapidly evolving environments. Machine Learning Knowledge: Solid understanding of core ML concepts (e.g., regression, boosted trees, model evaluation). Hands-on experience with common ML libraries such as scikit-learn, HuggingFace, or fastai. Experience: 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role (pre-sales, consulting, or technical account management). Proven track record engaging enterprise-level clients (e.g., Fortune 500 organizations). Technical Skills: Proficient in Python and Linux/Unix environments. Nice to Have: Experience working across Sales, Product, and Engineering functions. Exposure to high-growth tech environments. Background in Data Engineering, MLOps, or cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure, Kubernetes).
