Handle Freelance Solutions is a payroll services business. We run a payroll service on behalf of a number of different clients, who each need to pay varying numbers of freelance workers. We are looking for an administrator with excellent attention to detail, good communication skills and data entry experience to join this fantastic team. The role hybrid with 3 days home based working and 2 days in our Farringdon offices.
We take huge pride in the very high standard of our service and we look for staff to join the team, who will demonstrate that same commitment and passion for quality.
We are a small, but mighty team. This is an opportunity to be part of a growing business which is successful, expanding yet manages to maintain a "family" culture. It's a fairly flat structure, but there is the opportunity to grow beyond this entry-level role to a customer-facing position. We are a meritocracy, so any opportunities for development will be entirely down to your own performance in the role.
What will you be doing?
You will be fully accountable for your area of administration, ensuring all you do is done on time, to a high level of accuracy and within our tight deadlines.
Daily duties include:
- Data input - recording all details for new freelance workers into the payroll system and database
- Following process guidelines to ensure all data is meeting compliance requirements
- Daily and weekly reporting to identify workers eligible for Agency Worker Regulation changes.
- Managing queries and the ensuing responses are dealt with within our SLA deadlines.
- Carrying out checking processes to ensure all information is provided to the payroll team in time for processing.
Required skills & experience:
- Experience of data-entry will be essential.
- Excellent telephone and email communication.
- You should have worked in a process-driven environment and the ability to absorb information and follow process is essential.
- Payroll knowledge and understanding would be an advantage.
- This can be a very busy and time-pressured environment, so we expect you to be able to work at pace.
- We are judged on our accuracy, so you must have a keen eye for detail.
- We are all accountable for our own areas of work, so you will have already have demonstrated an ability to manage your own workload and solve problems.
- You must be a good communicator, able to build positive relationships, whether with colleagues or clients,
- We expect there to be ongoing flexibility around working style and home v office working, so you must be self-motivated and flexible in your approach and keen to take responsibility.
We are keen to see applications from candidates who can demonstrate the above experience with preference shown to candidates who have worked within a financial services environment. Full training will be given.
Diversity & Inclusion: Handle's is committed to create an environment that encourages and values diversity within its workforce and builds on the differences individuals bring, which we strongly believe will enable the Company's continued success. Should you have any specific needs or adjustments to help you at the interview process, we'd be very happy to support you, just let us know.
