The Opportunity:

We are looking for an experienced and passionate HR Manager to join our team and support our continued growth. Reporting to the Head of HR, this is a key leadership role where you’ll play a pivotal part in shaping our HR policies, ensuring compliance, and fostering a positive workplace culture.


What You’ll Be Doing:


  • Leadership & Mentorship : Guide and support two direct reports within the HR Team, fostering their professional growth.
  • HR Strategy : Develop and implement comprehensive HR policies and initiatives aligned with the organisation's goals.
  • Employee Relations : Serve as a vital link between management and employees, handling relations, resolving grievances, and managing disciplinary processes.
  • Compliance : Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and HRIS compliance. Ensure documentation aligns with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Payroll Support : Prepare documents for office staff payroll.
  • Auditing : Plan and follow up on monthly staff file audits and maintain records of outcomes.
  • Performance Management : Ensure performance reviews are completed, uploaded, and gaps are reported to senior management.
  • Training : Identify training needs and organise sessions in collaboration with the Head of HR.
  • Confidentiality : Manage sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.


What You’ll Bring:

  • A strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Knowledge of HRIS software and experience with employment checks (DBS, Right to Work, etc.).
  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Excellent organisation, time management, and prioritisation skills.
  • A calm, solution-oriented mindset with a “can-do” attitude.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).


Bonus Skills (Desirable):

  • Experience in the healthcare sector.
  • Understanding of CQC regulatory guidelines.
  • Knowledge of sponsorship duties.
