Supervisor (Roadspace Technology)

Ringway are seeking a proactive and skilled Supervisor to oversee and plan traffic management for technology works on the National Highways East contract. This is a key role where you’ll take ownership of traffic management requirements, guide a team of TM Road Space Coordinators, and ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards. Your efforts will help us deliver exceptional service to clients and stakeholders while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Ensure all operations are conducted safely and promote a culture of safety across teams and projects
- Oversee the delivery of reactive and cyclic maintenance works, ensuring quality and productivity targets are met
- Take responsibility for planning and arranging traffic management to support technology works
- Supervise and monitor operational teams and subcontractors, fostering a collaborative and positive team environment
- Utilise bespoke software to effectively manage service requirements
- Conduct regular checks and audits of depot facilities, ensuring they meet operational standards
- Coordinate road space applications, review and manage RAMS (Risk Assessment Method Statements), and undertake site visits to ensure compliance
Essential Qualifications:
- 12 A/B certification
- 12 C certification
- 12D T7 for Managers and Client Officers or extensive knowledge of high-speed traffic management
- Basic proficiency in computer programs such as Word and Excel
Personal Qualities:
- A strong team player with excellent coordination and communication skills
- Highly organised with great attention to detail
- Flexible and adaptable to varying working hours and conditions
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
