Backed by leading investors and now in scale-up mode, our client is an Indian headquartered business that is revolutionising the way that European OEMs access the high quality/low cost capabilities of Indian manufacturing.


The business connects manufacturing, packaging, food processing, pharmaceutical and systems integrator businesses across Europe to a diverse range of engineering goods from leading Indian suppliers. The business operates at the premium quality end of industrial manufacturing.


A new role has been created for a Head of Sales, Northern Europe. It's a hands-on, customer facing role that reports directly to the VP Europe, based in the UK.


You will be responsible for driving high value engineering capital equipment sales growth across multiple manufacturing sectors, building relationships and ensuring RFQ pipeline growth through OEM customers.


The ideal candidate is a passionate, self-motivated, and detail-oriented team player who is excited by the opportunity to play a significant part in the growth of Indian manufacturing within Europe based OEMs. The symptom of your success will be clear in substantial earnings and career development as the business goes through significant evolution.


Responsibilities:

  • OEM relationship management and development.
  • Attain order targets and consistently deliver business development opportunities on a quarterly basis.
  • Maintain relationships with customers to develop reference base and retain business.
  • Stay abreast of changes in relevant technology, competition and customer preferences that may affect positioning in the marketplace.
  • Generate and execute opportunities for large contracts
  • Contribute effectively to the company's ambitious growth objectives/yearly sales budget
  • Position the company to generate recurring business


Qualifications

  • Demonstrable experience in key account management and OEM customer acquisition
  • International sales experience
  • Well-networked amongst industrial OEMS
  • Familiar with "Value Selling"
  • Able to travel regularly as necessary.
