Job Description

Job Title: UX Researcher

Location: London

Remuneration: £50 per hour

Contract Details: Temporary contract, 12 months


Responsibilities:

Our client, a leading tech company, is seeking a UX Researcher to join their team in London on a temporary basis. As a UX Researcher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience of their products and services. You will conduct research to uncover user needs, motivations, and behaviours, and translate these insights into actionable recommendations for their product team.


Responsibilities:

  • Prioritise research across projects, communicating priorities to team members and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to include UX research in project prioritisation.
  • Plan and design research to inform product strategy and direction.
  • Advocate for the user and build empathy among cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Consolidate and synthesise research findings to generate insights and frameworks for strategic thinking.
  • Communicate user insights to cross-functional stakeholders and drive action on recommendations.
  • Use data and metrics to evaluate product performance and generate business impact.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in conducting user research, including usability testing, surveys, interviews, and ethnography.
  • Strong knowledge of qualitative and/or quantitative research methods.
  • Ability to communicate research findings clearly and concisely.
  • Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of UX principles and best practises.
  • Understanding of human cognition, decision-making, and behaviour.
  • Ethical approach to user research.
