Job description
Luxury outdoor furniture specialist Indian Ocean are recruiting a dynamic Sales Manager. This is an exciting role for an experienced sales professional with ambition, enthusiasm and an appreciation of design.
You will be responsible for growing sales and developing long-term profitable relationships, connecting with key business executives and the company directors. You must have a proven sales track record within either the luxury, high end furniture or design industry of at least 5 years with strong ability to communicate and execute sales successfully.
Responsibilities
- Generate new business across sectors.
- Identify and grow opportunities both UK and Internationally
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations to high-level executives
- Attend client meetings and trade shows in the UK and internationally.
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven account management experience within luxury furniture/design industry; furniture highly desirable.
- Understanding of logistics, shipping and export processes.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence effectively at all levels of client organisations.
- Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs.
- Demonstrate excellent product knowledge and ability to match to client needs.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, while paying strict attention to detail
About you:
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organisational and management skills.
- Ability to meet and establish deadlines.
- Flexibility and the ability to thrive across both the Retail and Trade landscape.
- Ability to work independently using own initiative.
- 5+ years of experience.
- Highly IT literate and competent use of Microsoft Suite.
- Relevant Degree in Design/Interior Design or Business
