Location: ON-SITE, London, UK

Salary: £26K - £32K/year (Based on experience and qualifications)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Working Hours: Monday-Friday (9 am - 5 pm)

Purpose of the Role:


To provide comprehensive support for the management, maintenance, and enhancement of the company’s IT infrastructure across multiple campuses, new and existing; ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient IT services.



Key Responsibilities:


IT Infrastructure Administration

- Perform routine administration of the company’s IT infrastructure and network, across various locations.

- Implement and maintain basic network security measures for our various different locations.

- Handling and forwarding requests for IT Hardware, equipment, and services.


Device Management and Configuration

- Oversee the configuration, deployment, and management of company devices, including desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.

- Ensure all devices are updated with the latest software and security patches.


IT Infrastructure Documentation

- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for IT infrastructure, including system configurations, network maps, and operational procedures.

- Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accessible for use in troubleshooting, audits, and compliance.


Policy Creation and Management:

- Assist in developing, implementing, and managing IT policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

- Regularly review and update IT policies to meet the evolving needs of the organization.


IT Implementations and Projects

- Assist in the planning, deployment, and maintenance of new IT infrastructure projects, ensuring timely and efficient implementations across campuses.

- Support the implementation of IT infrastructure for new campuses or offices, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.

- Coordinate with external vendors, contractors, and internal teams to meet project milestones and deadlines.

- Travel to various sites across the UK to provide on-site support for our campuses.


Continuous Improvement

- Stay updated with the latest trends in IT and Network Infrastructure.

- Recommend and implement improvements and new ideas to improve both staff and student experience.

- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance IT Infrastructure and administrative duties.



Essential Qualifications and Experience:

- A minimum bachelor's degree in IT a related field.

- 1-2 years of experience in 1st Line support

- Microsoft Windows 10,11 and MacOS, iOS and setting up Printers

- Intune, Azure administration, Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, MS Entra ID, DHCP and DNS

- An understanding of Wireless network technologies (Unifi)

- Understanding of SIP/IP telephone Systems

- Must be a self-starter and have excellent time keeping management skills

- Be organized, planful and prioritize varied workloads and work to strict deadlines.

- Previous experience in an IT Support role, preferably within an educational institution.

- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure and willing to travel between sites.

- Microsoft Certifications

- Firewalls

- CompTIA+
