Ports and Marine LeadOur client, a leading consultancy in the Engineering secotr, is currently seeking a Ports & Marine Lead to join their team on a permanent basis. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of the Ports and Marine sector within the company, leveraging civil engineering and marine expertise to drive growth and deliver successful projects.Key Responsibilities: Lead and support the business in the Ports and Marine sector, collaborating with local and group teams to secure and deliver successful projectsDevelop and implement a strategic plan for growthManage and nurture client relationshipsLead and support tender processes alongside the Business Development teamTake a lead or significant role in the delivery of projects from both Project Management and Technical Specialist perspectivesDrive the growth of a capable team to support local project deliveryCollaborate with technical colleagues to support both growth and deliveryActively contribute to the UK and Ireland Growth StrategyJob Requirements: Chartered Engineer with experience in the Ports and Marine sector (Principal, Associate or Director)Excellent communication and project management skillsProven experience in leading client relationships with both contractors and ultimate clientsCreative, innovative, and capable of effective supervisory and organisational tasksAbility to lead and motivate teams, as well as resolve issues in a timely and flexible mannerProficiency in working within multifaceted environmentsExceptional written and oral communication skillsBenefits: Competitive salaryFlexible working arrangementsOpportunities for professional developmentA supportive and collaborative work environmentComprehensive employee benefits packageIf you are an experienced professional looking to take a lead role in the Ports and Marine sector, we would love to hear from you.
