National Account Lead - Grocery

Salary between £70-100k + 25% bonus + Package
Our client:
- Employee owned high growth food business that operate in ambient categories across both Own Label & Branded
- They have a unique proposition that very few companies can match; with strong sustainability credentials, diverse product offering, award winning innovation and extremely customer centric approach which has led to countless awards from the Grocery Retailers and from trade.
- Culture built on rewarding individuals for driving growth, ultimately incentivising the team to deliver excellence (Customer Relationships & Account growth) has meant the organisation has seen exponential growth YoY for 15 years.
- They are now looking to appoint a dynamic National Account Lead to join them and manage their grocery relationships.
The role:
- We are looking for a National Account Lead to deliver strategic partnership with major grocery & discounter customers. You would have a portfolio of a couple of key strategic retailers where they supply in a branded and own label capacity.
- You would be fully P+L responsible when managing the relationships, driving forward the customer’s vision and plan across the cross functional team.
- As National Account Lead you would build on a solid platform and relationship but play a pivotal role in strategically developing the accounts further.
Ideal candidate:
- This is a truly exciting opportunity for someone currently in a National Account Lead role with Grocery or Discounter with 2-4 years experience but wanting to progress their career & earnings potential quickly.
- Successful candidates for this National Account Lead role will come with a track-record of success within Retail Buying or FMCG account management within a Top 8 Grocer with a minimum of two trading cycles under your belt.
- Have a genuine flair for building customer relationships and a ‘can do’ attitude is a must.
- You will be passionate about working within the food industry
