Field Sales Manager

Reporting to: National Sales Manager
Location: Remote - North, ideally based in postcodes: ST,SK,CW,M,S
Package: £40k - £45k depending on experience, quarterly bonuses (up to £28k annually), fully expensed company car, laptop, tablet & phone, 25 days annual holiday and bank holidays, pension.
Job role:
As the Key Account Manager, North , you will be responsible for maintaining and developing the sales growth in the Social Housing Supply and Fit , as well as supply only, in the defined sales territory, operating within the Social Housing and Local Authority Channels. Postcodes including: M, ST, SK, CW, S, LN, DN, LS, WF, BB, PR, LL, SY, B, CV, NG.
You'll be responsible for creating leads and opportunities that will generate sales of the company’s RMI-Public product category. You will act as a true partner to existing customers and identify and develop new accounts to meet monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
Responsibilities
- Fully understand the customer base on the sales territory within the Social Housing sector, specifically: Local Government, Housing Associations and RMI Contractors/ Installers and other Influencers
- To be analytical and experienced on territory and account management, along with lead generation of new business to encourage sales growth month on month.
- Manage a sales funnel and project volumes of work to allow the business to utilise resources – work closely with NSM and Contract Manager to achieve this.
- Understand current legislation and utilise this accordingly.
- Presenting the company’s products and services in a professional & structured manner to maximize sales within new and existing accounts.
- Act as a true partner to existing customers, providing solutions to maintain and grow their accounts.
- To communicate with customers, and departments, within the Airtech brand in a clear and timely manner.
- Provide a weekly update using company reporting systems on all meetings, presentations, and opportunities, including details of outcomes of meetings and presentations, project probabilities (won / lost etc…)
Qualifications
- 3+ years' of territory & account management experience.
- Established networks within the social housing sector/ specification/ servicing channel is essential.
- An independent individual, with the ability to “think outside the box” & work with minimal guidance.
- Previous experience of lead generation of new business to encourage sales growth month on month.
- Able to demonstrate true Key Account Management skills, from winning new business to growing and maintaining accounts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrate the ability to influence at different levels in the business.
